Emma Hess

HESS, EMMA No services are scheduled at this time for Emma Allig Hess, age 101, of Roswell who went to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, July 30, 2007.

A native of Berne, Switzerland, Emma was born on May 6, 1906. At age 12 Emma and her family migrated to the United States where she met and married William O. Hess, who had previously migrated to the U.S. from Switzerland.

Emma was a talented seamstress but her first love was her home and family. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Roswell. She loved playing scrabble, listening to opera and enjoyed listening to Dr. Robert Schuler. She enjoyed crafts of many kinds.

Emma was preceded in death by her husband, son, grandson, sister and brothers. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and John Cauhape, 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and by those whose lives she touched.
