Emma Elizabeth Robinson Williams was born in Brownfield, TX on May 16, 1926. Raised in Caprock, she grew up and attended school in Tatum where she graduated and worked as a waitress. In this little Diner is where she met the love of her life. She married Percy Williams on November 15, 1945, in Roswell, NM where they planted their roots. Her professions included Bank Teller/Bookkeeper for Roswell State and Security National Bank. She completed her working career at Elk Oil as an accountant. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Percy Williams, and is survived by three children: son Tommy Williams and wife Dixie of McKinney, Texas, daughter Trudy Reed and husband Steve of The Colony, Texas, and daughter Betty Dunn and husband James of Albuquerque; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one brother and one sister, and many countless family and friends. In her journey here on earth, her labor of love was expressed by visiting and caring for elderly friends, and also knitting or crocheting, which she gifted to family, friends, and those in need. Most importantly she made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ early in life. Our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother will be forever loved and dearly missed.
