Ernesto Espinoza

Ernesto Joseph Espinoza "Blackbird" of Roswell went to the Lord Monday June 19, 2017 in Anaheim, California. Visitation will be Thursday 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited Thursday 4:00 P.M. July 6, 2017 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. Deacon Ernie Martinez will be officiating.

Ernesto was born May 14, 1959 in Roswell, N.M. to Frank O. and Guadalupe Villa Espinoza. Ernie attend school here in Roswell. In his younger years he loved to play baseball and basketball with his friends but what he enjoyed most of all was hanging out with friends and family at the Berlin Wall in Chihuahita; you guys know who you are. He served his country in the United States Army. Ernie was a crazy brother, and he used to say his twin was silly, they were a pair, like day and night but always on the same brain wave.

He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Lupe Villa Espinoza, brother Raymond Richard "Ricky" Espinoza, daughter Bianca Gonzales Espinoza, nephew Paul Michael Juarez, Great-Nephew Julian Anthony Rojas.

He is survived by his twin sister Ernestina Espinoza Sanchez (Richard); brothers Frankie Espinoza (Gloria), Albert Espinoza, Patricio Espinoza (Rachel); sisters Janie Villa, Linda Quintela (Manny), Helen Anaya, Margie Pizano, Sally Juarez (Oscar), and Cecillia "Cissy" Villa (Felipe). He was a loving uncle, great uncle, and believe it or not a great, great to those who are left: Ethan, Frank, Moises Espinoza, Candelieria, Benigna, Emilio, Gustavo, Rita, Patricio, Theresa, Raymond, Robert, Deanna, Christina, Mario, Christina, Jessica, Sylvia, Michael Isaac, Monica, Lee, Andrew, Anjanette, Andrew Michael, Marc, Rick, Joel, Andrianna, Adrienne, Isidro, Jose Angel, Michelle, Felipe; and all the great nieces and nephews that are too many to mention.

The family expresses its heartfelt thank you to the community of Roswell, N.M., Farmers Market, Kmart, RISD, and RLFS for all of the donations given to his family on his behalf. May God Bless you all. Cissy.
