OBITUARYBRBRLAGRONE FUNERAL CHAPELBRAUGUST 13, 2009BRROSWELL DAILY RECORD -- NEWS DEPT.BRBRROLLINS, ESTHER -- Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at South Manor Baptist Church for Esther Rollins, age 89, of Roswell, who passed away August 12, 2009 in Columbus, Georgia. Rev. Butch Neal of South Manor Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Viewing for family and friends will be Monday, August 17, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.BRBREsther was born September 30, 1919 in Rattlesnake Butte, Colorado, to Elmer and Loa Smith. Her parents preceded her in death as well as a sister and two grandsons.BRBREsther married Jewell Bus Rollins on January 12, 1939 in Roswell. He also has preceded her in death. BRBRSurvivors include a daughter: Clara McClendon and her husband Jerald; grandchildren: Linda Lamb of Corpus Christi, TX, Beverly Herman of Shiloh, GA, Debra Blackmon of Columbus, GA and Pamela Griffin of Salem, AL; great grandchildren; thirteen; great-great grandchildren; eighteen. BRBREsther was a Dept Manager for Sears for twenty years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for forty years. Her present membership was with South Manor Baptist Church for five years. She was also a member of the Senior Circle.
