RIGGS, ETHEL MARIE --Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 26, 2008, at La Grone Funeral Chapel, for Ethel Marie Riggs, age 80, of Roswell, who passed away June 24, 2008 at a local nursing home. Dr. Onsy Whicker, retired from Tabernacle Baptist Church will conduct the service. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.BRBREthel was born January 14, 1928 in Ft. Worth, Texas, to Everett and Winnie Bullock Aderholt.BRBoth parents preceded her in death, as well as 2 brothers, Donald J. Aderholt, and Billy Aderholt, and a sister, Betty J. Crocker.BRBRShe married Arthur Art T. Riggs on January 19, 1972. He preceded her in death in 2001. She had a son, James E. Jimmy Dyer that preceded her in death.BRBRSurvivors include a son; Ralph E. Dyer of Roswell, and a daughter; Paula Marie Dyer Coats and husband J. L. of Lovington, New Mexico. She is also survived by a brother, Virgil L. Aderholt and his wife Evelyn, of McCamey, Texas, and 2 sisters, Louise M. Lee and her husband Bill of Roswell and Mary Ann Lynn and her husband Johnny of Navarre, Florida.BRBRThere are 9 grandchildren surviving; Mack Dyer, Stacy Dyer, Dusty Dyer, Tammy Johnston, Susan Crook, Jimi Rene Reed, Daryl Bevers, B rian Bevers and Joey Determan, and 12 great-grandhcildren .BRBRShe was a homemaker, and was of the Pentecostal Faith.
