Etta Williams

Etta Marie Williams, age 70, of Roswell passed away Saturday September 9, 2017. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, September 15, 2017 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. Elder Albert Hill of Redeemer Lutheran Church will be officiating.

Etta was born September 21, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to Clarence and Lillian Williams. She grew up in Sweetwater, Texas and moved to Roswell, New Mexico in 1954. Etta attended elementary school and high school after moving to Roswell; she also attended Job Corps. She loved teaching, she loved life, and she loved her family. She will be greatly missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her father: Clarence Williams; brothers: Arthur Williams and Ernest L. Williams; and her daughter Angela Janette Simmons.

She is survived by her mother: Lillian "Baby" Dixon of Roswell, New Mexico; and her son: Richard S. Williams.
