WATSON, EUTHA FAY BRYCEWas born on Sept 12, 1928 in Ira, Texas died 81712 in Roswell, NM. She was the youngest of six children of Theodore Frederick and Annie Belle Moore. Fay married her J.R. high school sweetheart Weldon Miles Watson on January 18, 1946 In Big Spring, TX almost 67 years ago at 14th Main Church of Christ. They honeymooned in Seagraves, TX at her sister house. She lived in Big Spring for 22 years, Odessa 24 and Roswell, NM 16 years.
Together they have a son, William Leslie Watson and daughter, Susan Arveta Watson.
Fay was preceded in death by her brothers: James Bryce and Lester Bryce Sisters: Lillie Underwood, Ina Lee Thompson, and brother inlaw, T.L. Griffin. She is survived by her husband: Weldon Son: Leslie and his wife Jan daughter: Susan Watson Hunter grandson: Cody Rattan sister: Ann Israel. With countless loving nieces and nephews along with many, many friends and loved ones. Fay was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She was a Sunday school teacher for many years.
Fay lived to love Weldon and her family. There was never a dull or quiet moment around Fay, she made everyone a part of her family.
Home was always a safe haven where love and acceptance was the house motto. Although they had only two children and one grandchild they had many others that felt their love and acceptance that claimed them as grandparents. She and Weldon always worked together thru the years and built several successful businesses in an honest and forthright manner.
She was truly loved and is greatly missed and will be remembered for her funny sense of humor and her ability to tell a great story, even when it was embarrassing
Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Monday, August 20, 2012 at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring, TX, 6900 South US Hwy 87, Big Springs, TX 79721.
