McKENZIE, EVERTT LEROY -- No services will be held at this time for Evertt Leroy McKenzie, age 81 of Roswell, who passed away July4, 2008 at a local nursing home.BRBREvertt was born September 16, 1926 in Luther, Oklahoma, to Roy and Mildred Slaughter McKenzie. Both parents have passed away.BRBRHe married Norma Sheppard McKenzie on November 24, 1945 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She also preceded him in death.BRBRSurvivors include two sons; Jim McKenzie and his wife Connie of Moorpark, California and Jerry McKenzie and his wife Karan of Merced, California. He is also survived by one sister, Roberta Page of Lebanon, Missouri, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.BRBREvertt had served in the U. S.
