Fred Tucker

TUCKER, FRED E. -- Memorial Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at the First Baptist Church, for Fred E. Tucker, age 64, of Roswell, who passed away September 21, 2008 at his home. Pastor Matt Brooks of the First Baptist Church will officiate. He will be assisted by the Roswell Masonic Low Twelve Club. All Master Masons please assemble at the First Baptist Church at 1:30 PM.

Fred was born November 11, 1943, in Graham, Texas, to Earnest C. and Opal McNeely Tucker. His parents preceded him in death, as well as a son, Tommy Eugene Tucker.

He married Phyllis J. Rinehart in April of 1982 in Roswell. She survives him at the family home.

Other survivors include 2 sons; Perry Lee Warren and wife Sarah of Clarksville, TN, Robert Lee Tucker and wife of Roswell, and a daughter; Tracy Lee Tucker of Roswell. Other surviving family members are 4 brothers; William M. Tucker of Albuquerque, NM, Robert Tucker of Roswell, Jerry Robbins of Albuquerque and David Robbins of Oregon, and 2 sisters; Doris Jane Acosta of Albuquerque, and Billie Ann Peterson of Midland, TX. Also surviving is his Step-mother, Billie Tucker of Midland, TX, 7 grandchildren, Samantha Tucker of TX, Shannon of MS,

Betty Rose Gonzales of TN, Michelle Warren of TN, Katie Wells, MS, Tyler Lee Tucker and Dylan Lee Tucker both of Roswell, and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was an Executive Assistant at Tandy Hunt Law Firm.

Fred was a member of the Roswell Noon Optimist since 1994, was the Past District SecretaryTreasurer of New Mexico West Texas District 19 for Optimist International. He was the Past Master of Hondo Masonic Lodge 79, and the Past Deputy Director Grand Master

Of Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church.
