COOK, FRIEDA Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Frieda Cook, age 92, who passed away March 7, 2010. Pat Murphy will officiate with interment to follow at South Park Cemetery

Frieda was born on July 25, 1917 to Frank and Anise Burnworth in Confluence, Pennsylvania. They have preceded her in death as well as a brother, Dewey Burnworth.

Frieda married Oscar Cook on August 13, 1937, in Roswell. He also has preceded her in death.

Frieda was a housewife. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star.

She is survived by a daughter: Betty Jo Broussand and her husband Roy of Roswell, NM four brothers: Ralph Burnworth of Roswell, NM, Dale Burnworth of Las Cruces, NM, Wayne Burnworth of Visalia, CA and Robert Burnworth of Portales, NM two sisters: Lu Coll of Albuquerque, NM, and Faye Craeagh of Waddell, AZ.

Honorary Pallbearers are Ralph Burnworth, Dale Burnworth, Wayne Burnworth, Robert Burnworth, Roy Broussard and Gary Borst.
