VELOZ, GABINA - Viewing for Gabina Veloz will be from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday, February 18, 2019 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 18, 2019 with Brother Alberto Molina officiating. Inurnment will be at South Park Cemetery at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 19, 2019. Gabina passed away Thursday, February 14, 2019 in Lubbock, TX.

"Mom liked to read the bible daily, she would go to church every Sunday. Mom loved having all her kids together and enjoyed cooking for us all. She also loved shopping and her favorite thing to buy was shoes, and had a closet full."

Gabina was preceded in death by her siblings,Leonardo, Fidencio, Francisco, Antonio, Alberto, Juan, Lupe, Petra Valenzuela, Carlota Tarin, her mother, Dorotea Gomez and father, Augustine Gomez.

Gabina's memory will be cherished by her husband Andres Veloz; her 2 daughters, Noehmy Medrano (Eddie); Aimee Cardenas (Ignacio); 2 sons, Adam Payan (Dora); Lionel Aguilar (Kristen); and 1 sister, Romelia Garcia of Lubbock. Gabina was also blessed with grandchildren, Jennifer Salazar, Jessie Medrano, Emmanuel Cardenas, Andres Cardenas, Lionel Aguilar Jr., Andrew Aguilar, Cassandra Aguilar, Anthony Aguilar, Noah Aguilar, Cortland Strickler, David Maciel, Gloria Molina, Magali Barraza, Amy Janelle Payan, Gregory Morales, Daniel Fitzpatrick, Priscilla Gomez and Roland Gomez, and 35 great grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jessie Medrano, Lionel Aguilar, Jr., Gregory Morales and Emmanuel Cardenas.
