Gary Gorman

GORMAN, GARY K. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 14, 2008 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Gary K. Gorman, age 50, of Roswell, who passed away August 10, 2008, at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Pastor Bob Bacon of First Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn.

Gary was born November 8, 1957 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to Wayne Allen Gorman, SR. and Elizabeth Ellen Binns Gorman. His father has preceded him in death.

Gary married Mary Bryant on June 20, 2008 in Dexter, New Mexico. Together they found happiness and love and were looking forward to beginning a wonderful new chapter in their lives. She survives him at the family home.

Gary was a graduate of Roswell High School and resided in Roswell the majority of his life. He began his own business, Splash Pool Spa, which he successfully operated for over 20 years. He was a songwriter and a music lover. He enjoyed bow hunting and the outdoors. His faith in God was strong as well as his love for his friends and family.

Gary is survived by his son: Jerohn Gorman and his wife Tasha of Albuquerque, NM; daughter: Christan Cole and her husband Michael of Fountain, CO; brother: Wayne Gorman, JR of Hot Springs, AR; sister: Cathy Murphy of Las Cruces, NM; five grandchildren: Tayla, Austin and Jackson Cole and Avory and Sidney Gorman.

Pallbearers will be Mark Huddle, Mark Ernest, Randy Jennings, Truman Schear, Richard McKinley and Kenny Campbell.
