Geraldine Clark

Clark, Geraldine age 91.
Celebration of life services will be held at 1:30 pm, Monday, January 14, 2013 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jerry Beaver officiating.
Geraldine passed from this life January 9, 2013, after a lengthy illness. She was born July 19, 1921 in Duncan, OK to B.A. and Beulah Mae Shipman, she graduated from Lawton, Oklahomas Central High School, in 1939.
While working as a telephone operator at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma she met and married the love of her life, Bernard Clark, December 24, 1944 in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. They moved to Roswell in 1945. Geraldine enjoyed sewing, knitting and various other crafts Geraldine was a faithful and active member of Tabernacle Baptist Church for over 60 years and participated in RAC functions until health issues slowed her attendance.
Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bernard Clark, sons, Gerard and Gene and a sister, Faye Howard.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her son, Charles Clark and wife, Connie, daughter, Denise Clark all of Roswell, sister, Mary Thistle of Stover, MO., brother, Coy Shipman of Ft. Worth, TX, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a special friend Beth Hader.
The family extends their appreciation to the staff at Mission Arch Care Center for their loving and compassionate care of Geraldine.
