Greg was born April 15, 1971 in Roswell to Carl Arnold, Jr. and Debbie Shoup.

Greg married his sweetheart, Mae Bradshaw on October 21, 1989 in Roswell. She survives him at the family home, along with his daughter and assistant in all projects, Jordan Ashley Arnold.

Greg is also survived by his parents: Carl Arnold, Jr. and Debbie Shoup; his paternal grandfather: Carl B. Arnold, SR of Roswell, his maternal grandparents: Thomas and Betty Shoup of Roswell; one brother: Carl Arnold, III and wife Audra, of Roswell; an aunt and uncle, Susan and Lawrence Lucas of Capitan, cousin Carl Wayne Lucas and his family of Roswell; his brothers of the Roswell Fire Department and many other family and friends.

Greg is preceded in death by his grandmother Clara Arnold and one uncle, David Shoup.

Greg comes from a long line of firefighters. In particular, he followed in the footsteps of his grandpa Tom and Uncles Howard and JC. Greg was a Lt. for the Roswell Fire Department. He began his career at the Fire Department in 1996. He was a member of the Hazmat Team, Firefighter I and II Instructor, EMS Instructor, and a Paramedic.

Greg enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling with his family, playing cards with his friends, hosting family BBQs, eating cherry Twizzlers, and just having fun. He loved teaching his daughter all the tricks of building and fixing cars. He most enjoyed tinkering and the building of things. He was in the process of building his second family home. He endured the messes his wife and other family members would make for him to fix, always with a smile on his face. He was loved by his nieces and nephews, who he always laughed with and entertained. Gregs sense of humor was understood best by those he loved and loved him in return.

Pallbearers will be the Roswell Fire Department Honor Guard, and Gregs fellow firefighters.

The family will be receiving friends immediately following the service at Fire Station 1 on Richardson.

He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
