LANDUSKY, HENRY HANK L.--Henry Hank L. Landusky, 83, died April 28, 2009 at his home in Roswell, New Mexico. Mr. Landusky was born on March 14, 1926 in Bushnell, Illinois to Katherine Fryer and Henry Landusky.
Mr. Landusky served in the US Navy during WWII, where he was stationed in the Solomon Islands in the South Pacific. After his tour of duty, Mr. Landusky became an employee of Western Company for 41 years of distinguished service, working in Tatum and Hobbs, New Mexico, Brighton, Colorado, and Roswell, New Mexico.
Hank was a dedicated, extremely well respected and well known professional in the Oil and Gas industry. He took pride in his accomplishments and his invaluable contributions to the Western Company and to the Industry.
He was happiest around family and his children and his large extended family were a source of great joy and pride. He will be deeply missed and forever fondly remembered.
Mr. Landusky is survived by his wife of 42 years, Margie, two brothers, Kenneth Oehrlein of Sonora, California, Herbert Landusky of Laramie, Wyoming, a sister, Emmroy Blake of Springfield, Illinois, son Larry and Lucy Landusky of Lubbock, Texas, daughter Judy and Roger Johnson, of Hobbs, New Mexico, a very special Niece and Nephew, Patricia and Joe Whitfield of Cypress, Texas, and Pat and Stephanie Meroney of Odessa, Texas. He is further survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and numerous Nephews, Nieces and brother and sisters-in-laws who loved him very much.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Landusky was preceded in death by his sister, Madeline Davis.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Landusky will be held at the LaGrone Funeral Home in Roswell on Monday May 4th at 1:00pm.
