TRAYLOR, HERBERT LEE HUB Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Capitan Schools Traylor Gym, in Capitan, NM, for Herbert Lee Traylor, Jr. better known as Hub, passed away peacefully at his home in Roswell on October 19, 2011. Pastor Al Lane will officiate.
Hub was born in Alamogordo, NM on April 14, 1953. Hub grew up in the Capitan area and graduated from Capitan High School in 1971.
In 1973 Hub used his charm and wit to win over a beautiful blonde named Frances Harcrow. On January 26, 1974 Hub and Frances were married in Ruidoso, NM.
Hub always had a gift with people. His infectious smile and easy manner drew people in and made them feel like Hub was an immediate friend. This gift served him well in the career he chose. For 36 years Hub specialized in feed consulting, feed analysis, and building feed programs for the people and ranches of Southern New Mexico. Hubs work ethic and efficiency were appreciated by all. Hub wasnt just a contact person for all his clients, he was a true friend.
Hub loved his wife, Frances was proud of his two children, Kyle and Tycie, and loved his daughterinlaw, Kelly, and his soninlaw, Ty, like his own. Hub had a special fondness for his seven grandkids pictures and crayon drawings filled his office at Roswell Livestock. Many a feed conversation ended with pictures of grandkids or stories about them.
Hubs presence here on Earth will be missed by so many, but he created a legacy through his deeds and words that will forever live on.
Hub was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Traylor and Alice Traylor. He is survived by his wife, Frances Traylor of Capitan, his son and daughterinlaw, Kyle and Kelly Traylor of Capitan, his daughter and soninlaw, Ty and Tycie Jackson of Cimarron, seven grandchildren sister, Idy Schweitzer and Dave Schweitzer of Alto, his sister Kathy Vinyard and Rick Vinyard of Las Cruces, NM and many nieces and nephews.
