MARTINEZ, HUGOMemorial services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 30, 2014 at the Central Church of the Nazarene for Hugo Martinez, age 72, who passed away May 2, 2014. Pastor Randy Eltman of the Central Church of the Nazarene Church will officiate

Hugo was born November 26, 2014 in Monterrey, Mexico to Matias and Adele Martinez. They have preceded him in death as well as a brother, Marco Aurelio.

He is survived by his Brothers: Aurelio Roybal and his wife Priscilla of Santa Fe, NM, Henry Roybal and his wife Patricia of Idaho, Dino Roybal and his wife Georgia of Santa Fe, and Hector Martinez of Colorado sisters Sandra Martinez of Tennessee and Adele Bozeman and her husband Mike of Roswell and countless numbers of nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces.

Hugo had a sense of humor and his laugh was contagious, his smile was endearing. He was loving and caring in his later years. He loved going for walks to the store. He always appreciated the things that were done for him. He enjoyed living at Riverside the most. He had lots of friends at Riverside. He enjoyed eating Mexican food, walking and observing nature. He enjoyed his visits from his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews. He had two nephews that helped family with getting him to his chemo appointments. He loved his family. Hugo was a long time resident of New Mexico.

Hugo will be greatly missed by his brothers and sisters, care givers: Molly Gonzales, Marsha, Laura and his friends at the Riverside Boarding Home.
