Hugo Perri

PERRI, HUGONo services are scheduled at this time for Hugo Perri, age 86, of Roswell who passed away on January 17, 2013 .
Hugo was born in Aprigliano, Italy to Domenico and Erminia Perri, They have preceded him in death.
Hugo married Janet Stevens on May 27, 1967 in Alpena, Michigan. She survives him at the family home.
He is also survived by three sons: James Perri of Flat Rock, Michigan, Dominic Perri of Brighton, Michigan, and Michael Perri of Cheboygan, Michigan two daughters: Janet Macaluso and her husband Nick of Roswell and Dr. Julia Gallegos and her husband Jon of Albuquerque, NM six grandchildren and four great grandchildren with numerous nieces and nephews.
Hugo spent over thirty years as an educator in Michigan. He was a elementary teacher, principal and superintendent. He retired and moved to Roswell in 1981. He continued to serve on the Roswell School Board and State AARP Committee. Hugo was a member of the St. Andrews Episcopal Church. He was appointed the Colonel AidedeCamp to the staff of the Governor in 1991. He also served in the United States Army during World War II, and was stationed in the Philippines.
