Irma Boyd

BOYD IRMA EUGENIA Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 16, 2010 at the West Country Club Rd. Church of Christ for Jean Boyd, age 98, of Roswell. She passed away January 9, 2010 having been a resident of Roswell for 63 years. Doug Austin of the West Country Club Rd. church of Christ will officiate with prayer and remarks by Elton Dilbeck.

Mrs. Boyd was born September 12, 1911 to Robert Franklin and Mary Ellen Moyer Bowers. They both have preceded her in death.

Mrs. Boyd married Olan M. Boyd, on October 18, 1930, in Las Cruces, and they had one son, Olan W. Boyd. Both her husband and her son had preceded her as well as five brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by three grandchildren, Shay Grahn of Clarksville, Indiana, and Rynn Boyd and Kelly Boyd, both of Eastaboga, Alabama six great grandchildren, Josiah Grahn, Of Lexington, Kentucky, Adrielle Perkins, Jacob Grahn, Caitlin Grahn, all of Clarksville, Indiana, Josh Stachulak of Villa Rica, Georgia, and Cody Boyd of Eastaboga, Alabama, and one great great grandson, Maverick Perkins of Clarksville, Indiana. She is also survived by her best friend and caretaker for many years, Evenlyn Gleason.

She is a faithful Christian.
