Irvin Biggie

BIGGIE, IRVIN ANTON LEFTYA Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 P.M. Friday, June 29, 2007 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Irvin Anton Lefty Biggie, age 93, of Roswell, New Mexico, who passed away June 20, 2007 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. The Resurrection Mass will be at 9:00 A.M., Saturday, June 30, 2007 at St. Peters Catholic Church, with Fr. Benedict Begin, OFM officiating. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Irvin was born December 22, 1913 in Rathmeil, Pennsylvania, to John and Ann Biggie who have preceded him in death as well as brothers, Edgar, and Harry Biggie and sisters Florence Biggie and Marie Yanoscsik.

Irvin married Ann Potter on November 2, 1945 in Weslaco, Texas. She preceded him in death on January 8, 2007.

Survivors are a nephew, Jim Yanoscsik, brother Raymond Biggie and six grandchildren.

Irvin was a criminal investigator for the U.S. Government Dept. of Justice. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church
