Isaac Flores

FLORES, ISAAC SOSA A Funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 27, 2010, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Isaac Sosa Flores, age 84 of Roswell, who passed away January 23, 2010 at his home. Pastor John Delos Santos will officiate with burial to follow at South Park Cemetery.

Isaac was born February 20, 1925 in Dexter, New Mexico, to Urbano and Lola Flores Sosa. Both parents have preceded him in death. He was also preceded by sons, Gilbert Flores, Raymond Flores, Juan Carlos Flores.

He married Margarita Sanchez in 1980, in Roswell. She survives him at the family home.

Other survivors include 5 sons, Adam Flores, Manuel Flores, Robert Flores, Thomas Flores, and Jerry Flores, Daughters, Gloria Harris, Cecilia Contreras, Nancy Cardona and Kathy Orona. He is also survived by a brother, Samuel Flores, and 1 sister, Nena Flores, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren and numerous greatgreatgrandchildren.

Isaac was of the Baptist faith. He had been employed by NMMI, as a head painter. He served his country in the U. S. Army. He served on the Selective Service Board.

Pallbearers will be Mike Contreas, Robert Servantez, Jayson, Flores, Jesse Flores, Jerry Flores Jr., and Christopher Harris. Honorary Pallbearers are Shannon Patterson, Pete Montoya, JR., Frank Nelson Montoya and Jerry L. Montoya.
