BOX, JACK W Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Box Cemetery in Alto, NM for Jack W. Box, age 65, of Roswell who passed away on October 7, 2014.

Jack was born in Roswell, NM, on November 3, 1948 to Jack O. and Lois M. Box.

Jack served in the US Army. He was a past member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce. After he taught Diesel Mechanics at San Juan Jr. College in Farmington, NM, and was a cross country truck driver for many years. Jack was always a good friend and always willing to help.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack O. Box, paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents, one brother and one niece.

He is survived by his daughters Leslie Ybarra and her husband Rick, Lindsey Rogers and her husband Brad, son Jay Box and his partner Michael Thompson. brother Patrick M. and his wife Marlene Box of Pleasant Grove, UT, sisters Sue Ann Price and her husband Rodney, Kimberly Lynn Hendricks and her husband Derrick, Sara Leigh Shaw and her husband Roy all from Roswell, NM, and Carol Jean Bare and Gary Kelley of Clovis, NM, grandchildren Addyson Rogers, Chaney Rogers and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by The Love of His Life, Melenda Young.

Honorary Pallbearers: Lifelong Special Friends Dickie Davis, Billy Johns and Jackie Forrester.
