Jack Ray

RAY, JACK L. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at South Park Cemetery for Jack L. Ray, who passed away February 11, 2010. Pastor Butch Neal with South Manor Baptist Church will officiate with honors given by the Roswell Veterans Honor Guard.

Jack was born on September 6, 1919 to Allen and Annie Ray, who have both preceded him in death.

On June 8, 1944, Jack married Jonnie Groseclose in Roswell. She has also preceded him in death.

Jack served his country in the United States Army Air Corp. He was an Air Traffic controller.

He is survived by two sons: John Ray and his wife Helen of Roswell and children Valisha Ray of San Antonio, TX, Tosha Ray of Dallas, TX and Michelle Ray of Dallas TX, and son Rodney Ray and his wife Lawana of Roswell and children, Matthew Ray of Roswell, Mark Ray of Ozark, MO, Thomas Clinton of Roswell, Stephanie Clinton of Colorado Springs, CO and Cody Ray of Roswell seventeen great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be John Ray, Rodney Ray, Matthew Ray, Cody Ray, David Chavez and Thomas Clinton.

Arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Funeral Chapel.
