CARPENTER, JACKIE ANETTA Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 27, 2013 at First Baptist Church for Jackie Anetta Carpenter, age 68, of Roswell who passed away April 23, 2013. Pastor Lyman Graham will officiate. Interment will be at the LA Ranch at a later date.

Anetta was born July 8, 1944 in Portales, NM to Jack Graham and Lillian Anderson Graham. Her father has preceded her in death.

Anetta married David Carpenter on March 2, 1963 in Caprock, New Mexico. He survives her at the family home.

Anetta is also survived by her mother: Lillian Graham one brother: Hugh Robert Graham and his wife Bridget daughter: DAun Pierce and her husband Mike son: Ross Carpenter and his wife Lora grandchildren: Ben Gray, Jake Carpenter and his wife Kassie Katie Ragland and her husband Jeremy, Skyler Pierce and his wife Molly, and Sterling Pierce great grandchildren: Karli and Keylee Ragland nieces and nephews: Laurie Matuska and her husband Doug, Royal Celum and his wife Lori, Madison and Mason Celum, Ethan and Logan Matuska.

Anetta attended Tatum High School and Texas Tech University. She and David ranched on the LA Ranch east of Roswell for their entire marriage. She was a homemaker and kept the books for David in the oil field. Her greatest joy was spending time going to the many stock shows and ranch rodeos her children and grandchildren competed in. She was their biggest fan.
