James M. Hunt, born October 7, 1930, in Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on October 31, 2024, in the place that he loved the most: Bottomless Lakes State Park. By trade, he was a stained-glass craftsman, working on church stained-glass windows in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
Leaving winter behind, he retired to New Mexico, where he volunteered at Bottomless Lakes State Park for the last twenty years. Should anyone like to pay tribute to their friend, Jim, please go to The Overlook, his favorite place in the park.
