Janet Gray

Janet passed away at her home October 15, 2017. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 19, 2017 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. Roy Prescott of Second Baptist Church in Abilene, Texas will be officiating.

Janet was born July 23, 1944 in Pittsburgh, PA to Robert (Bob) Schorr and Dorothy Schorr. Janet started a career in hospital and insurance work. She then owned her own taxi cab company in PA. In October 1993. Janet moved to Roswell and started to work at Westlake Hardware. She was well like and appreciated the years that she worked there. Janet enjoyed attending church services. She also enjoyed making delicious foods for Kermitt's family reunions and holidays. Janet especially enjoyed doing things for all of the young children in Kermitt's family. Janet was a very caring and sweet lady and will be missed by family and friends.

Preceding Janet in death are her parents and brother Robert (Bobby) Schorr.

She is survived by her husband Kermitt Gray of Roswell whom she married September 14, 2008.
