Jerome Kamas

KAMAS, JERRY Jerry Kamas, a long time resident of Roswell, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the age of 72.

Jerry was preceded in death by son Joshua Kamas, parents, Joseph and Peggy Kamas, brothers, Eugene, Ed, Louis and Micheal sisters, Dorothy, Julia, Adele.

He is survived by his son, Dominic Kamas, brother George, sisters Lucille, Darlene, and Gladis.

Jerry was Born In Minnesota in 1938 and raised in Blue Earth County where he was an active athlete. After High School he joined the armed forces, for the United States Army. Upon his return he attened the University of Minnesota, Mankato after graduation went on for futher schooling to be an air traffic controller. Which he continued to to do till his retirement in 1993.

Jerry was of the Catholic Faith, and a memorial mass is scheduled for 12:10 pm on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Assumption Catholic Church.
