REYES, JESUS O. -- A Rosary will be at 7:00 PM, Thursday, September 13, 2007 at Immaculate Conception Church in Dexter for Jesus O. Reyes, age 81, of Dexter, who passed away September 9, 2007 in Lubbock, Texas. A Resurrection Mass will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 14, 2007, at Immaculate Conception Church. Fr. Richard Lifrak and Deacon Jesus Herrera will conduct the service. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.BRBRJesus was born December 16, 1925 in Villa Matamoros, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Marcos and Augustina Ontivero Reyes. Both parents preceded him in death, as well as three brothers, Rosario Reyes, Jose Reyes and Guerrero Reyes and a sister Soledad Reyes.BRBRHe married Juanita Esquivel on February 22, 1947 in Villa Matamoros, Chihuahua, Mexico. She survives him at the family home in Dexter.BRBROther survivors include three sons: Jesus E. Reyes and Ofelia Valdemar of El Paso, Texas, Marcos Isacc Reyes and his wife Diane of Chicago, IL., and Juan Manuel Reyes and his wife Sylvia of Dexter, NM; four daughters: Olga Delgadillo and her husband Trini of Waco, TX, Martha Hortencia Luna and her husband Javier of Dexter, NM, Susan Madrigal and her husband Phillip of Plainview, TX and Maria De Lourdes Gamboa and her husband Gerald of Lakeworth, FL.; two brothers: Zeferino Reyes, Isidro Reyes, and; twenty-three grandchildren and ten great grandchildrenBRBRMr. Reyes was a Farm Worker until his retirement.BRBRPallbearers will be Javier Luna II, James Reyes, Joshua Luna, Tony Reyes, Pepe Delgadillo, Phillip Madrigal II.
