ISAACS, JEWELFuneral services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Lagrone Funeral Chapel for Jewel Isaacs, 88, who passed away October 13, 2012 at Mission Arch Care Center.
Harold Hobson will officiate and burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.
Jewel Edith Estes was born in Henrietta, Texas February 22, 1924 to Fred Esta
Estes. She grew up as a neighbor to her husband to be, Russell Isaacs. They were married April 8, 1943 in El Paso, Texas while Russell was serving in the Army Air Force.
They had a daughter, Alice and a son Tommy who was tragically killed in a car
accident in 1962.

They moved to Roswell, NM in 1947. She was employed by Roswell Lumber Yard
for many years and later for Spencer Mortgage.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Russell in 2001, son Tommy,
brothers, Everett, Floyd, Robert and sister Lillie. She is survived by one sister,
Imogene Carrollton of Lucas,Texas.

She is also survived by her daughter Alice Ratliff husband Mack of Roswell, her
grandchildren Keith Ratliff wife Tonia, and Robin French husband Jim, all of
Alamogordo, NM.

Her great grandchildren are Kyle McCracken of Las Cruces, NM, Kayla McCracken
of Las Cruces, NM and Jesslyn Ratliff of Littleton, Colorado.

She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church.

Pallbearers will be Tony Isaacs, Terry Isaacs, Keith Ratliff, Bob Ratliff, Kyle McCracken and Mack Ratliff.
