Jo Green

Mrs. Jo Ann Green passed away on 8 SEP 2018 at the age 82. She resided at Willow Park nursing home in Lawton OK. She was born on August 21, 1936 in Mannsville Ok to William Walter Elledge of Marietta OK and Mary Jane (Crosby) Elledge of Troy OK. She married her 1st love Albert Clayton Green November 15, 1955 in Madill OK. They had 23 years together before he passed away in 1978. She had two kids a son James Stephen Green in 1956 and a daughter Anita Ann Green in 1972. About 1965 they moved to Dexter NM and later she moved into Roswell NM. Later in life she met her 2nd love Charles Lyons. They lived together in Roswell NM. When she had to move into the nursing home in 2008 because of failing health he took great care of her for many years as her health was gradually failing visiting her 2 to 3 times daily in the nursing home and bringing their puppy for visits. In March of 2018 she finally gave in and moved to Lawton to be with her daughter and family in Lawton OK. She was a loving wife and mother and a talented artist. She published several poems and songs and enjoyed drawing and crafts. She is survived by her love Charles Lyon. Her daughter Anita (Green) Wollman. Three grandkids Angel (Green) Brant, CeeJay Green, James Reynolds and 4 great grandkids Aiden, Asher, Emily, and Malakai. She was proceeded in death by her husband Albert Clayton Green, son James Stephen Green, her parents, and 6 brothers and sisters.
