Obituary: Joe R. Hadder--
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Waymaker Church for Joe R. Hadder, 82, of Roswell who died following a short illness Sunday in Mission Arch.
The Rev. Mike Knowlton of Waymaker Church will officiate.
Burial will be in South Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charlie Chewning, Bill Bonham, Wes Perry, Dale Miller, Louis Pearce, Rudy Maestas.
Mr. Hadder was born September 21, 1925 in Roswell to Mr. and Mrs. John Richard Hadder, both now deceased. He was married in Roswell, June 11, 2005 to Mary Harris, who survives him. After his discharge from the service in 1945, Mr. Hadder lived in various locations across the country as a technician in the oil industry. After his retirement, he returned to Roswell.
Besides his wife Mary, Joe is survived by son Eddie Hadder of Fort Worth, Texas; daughter Shirley Dianne Rogers of Beasley, Texas; brother James E. Hadder of Scottsdale, Arizona; sister Ila Joyce Perry of Roswell; and 3 grandchildren.
Joe was preceded in death by his first wife, Nadyne Hadder; parents John Richard and Ila May Hadder; brothers John Thomas, Sr., Perry Edwin, and Walter Lee Hadder; and granddaughter Rhonda Maly.
