Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m., Monday, March 29, 2010, at South Park Cemetery for Joe M. Kintz, 93, of Roswell, who passed away March 24, 2010. The Rev. Charlie Martinez will officiate.
Joe was born Nov. 8, 1916, in Duncan, to Joseph and Marie Kintz, who preceded him in death. He was predeceased also by a brother, John Kintz Sr. two sisters, Catherine Mills and Sister Joseph Maria and a sister inlaw: Loretta Kintz.
Joe married May Belle Moore on July 16, 1966, in Artesia. She also preceded him in death.
Joe graduated from Roswell High School. He then attended Roswell Business College. Later, Joe had become a master plumber and worked for Fulkerson Plumbing until his retirement in 1981. Joe was a lifetime member of St. Peter Catholic Church.
Joe is survived by sons, Donald Moore, and his wife, Pat, of Roswell, and Travis Howle, and his wife, Susie, of Jacksonville, Ala. daughter inlaw, Grace Moore, of Roswell grandchildren, Donna Wallis, and her husband, Randy, of Dallas, Danny Moore, and his wife, Tricia, of Roswell, Dean Moore, and his wife, Christine, of Albuquerque, Dianna Moore, of Roswell, Melinda Moore, of Dallas, Joseph Moore, of Roswell 12 greatgrandchildren and eight greatgreat grandchildren nephews, John Kintz Jr., of Enid, Okla., and Jessie Joseph Kintz, of Eugene, Ore. nieces, Jaqueline Mannan, of Alexandria, La., Janette Galbrath, of Greenburg, Penn., Marie Bennett. of Artesia. and Catherine Johnson. of Lake Arthur.
Joe was a quiet, gentle, loving man who cherished his family. He will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be lovingly made to St. Peter Catholic Church.
