HIGGINS, JOHNNIE ANN Memorial Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Johnnie Ann Higgins, age 88, of Roswell, who passed away June 5, 2010 in Murphysboro, ILL. Father Bob Talley and Alex Mark Cox will officiate.

Johnnie was born on October 1, 1921 in Brady, TX to Fowler Benjamin and Bille Dovie McShan, who have both preceded her in death as well as three brothers: Dorman B. McShan, Fowler B. McShan Jr., and Ira Y. McShan sister: Ima M. Frazor and one grandson: Jimmie Curtis Pope

On October 25, 1938, she married Amos James Higgins in Roswell, New Mexico. He has also preceded her in death.

She is survived by: two daughters: Margaret Ann White and husband Don of Springfield, Ill and Barbara Larom Cox and husband Alex Mark of Pasadena, MD. three grandchildren: Donald E. White, Deborah Weller and Cynthia Renee Larom five great grandchildren: Jamie Pope, Becky Pope Beard, Jessica Weller, Shannon White, and Daulton Weller five great great grandchildren: Sydney Brashear, Zachary Pope, Diantae White, Riley Pope and Morgan Beard.

She was the owner and operator of Higgins Wonder Fabrics from 19551995 and was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
