Kangja Morgan left the sight of her family, people she loved and people who loved her and began her journey to the arms of Jesus at 11:45 PM on September 3rd.
Her peaceful departure at her home in Roswell, New Mexico left behind her husband, Roger who is joined in the sorrow of her departure by her brothers, Soo Myong Choe in Baton Rouge, Jae Myong Choe, and Yoon Myong Choe, both from South Korea, two sisters, Bokja Sung of Portland, Oregon and Woo Keum Choi who preceeded Kangja in death. Three children have been by her side in her final hours, Charlene Hiddleston of Omaha, James Greer of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Derek Greer of St. Croix in the U.S Virgin Islands. Stepchildren Tami Castronovo, Heather Church, and Christopher Lambert in Oregon and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins and in laws join in the mourning of her departure. Her life, friendship and departure were followed closely on Facebook by hundreds of friends around the world who recognized that Kangja lived to please others.
Cremation is being handled by Lagrone Funeral Home in Roswell, New Mexico and a memorial will be held in Kangjas honor at Lagrone Funeral Chapel in Roswell, New Mexico on Friday, September 13th, at 3pm.
Kangjas ashes will be scattered on the Caribbean Sea at Pt. Udall, U.S. Virgin Islands, the Easternmost point in the U.S. at the site the scattering of the ashes of her sister, Woo Keum.
