CORN, KATHRYN KATHI Services have been scheduled for Kathryn Faye Kathi Corn, age 57 of Roswell, New Mexico, who passed away September 25, 2007 in Lubbock, Texas, from complications of West Nile Virus. Services will be Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 11:00 A. M., at LaGrone Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Danny Sons of Midway Assembly of God officiating. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery

Kathi was born July 9, 1950 in Roswell, New Mexico to Clarence and Mary Edith Goldman Emerson. Her father preceded her in death, as well as a brother, Larry Emerson. Her mother, Edith survives her in Roswell.

Kathi married Jon Corn on January 19, 1968 in Roswell. Jon survives her at the family home.

She is also survived by two sons, Jon Michael Corn and his companion, Amanda Noyes of Albuquerque, NM and James P. Corn of Las Cruces, NM, two granddaughters, Hannah Faye and Michaela Leann Corn. Also, one sister, Kari Newton of Salisaw, OK. survives her.

Kathi graduated from Roswell High School with the class of 1968. She was employed as a receptionist at College Garden Animal Hospital and Scott Smith Animal Hospital She will be greatly missed by all.

Pallbearers will be: Jon M. Corn, Terry Emerson, Gayle Emerson, Ron Corn, Stuart Taylor, and Tony Emerson. Honorary pallbearers will be: Mike Albers, JamesHumpherys and Scott Smith.
