LEWIS, KENNETH WAYNE KENNY Memorial Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church for Kenneth Kenny Lewis. Kenny passed away on February 4, 2012 in Lubbock, Texas. The Rev. Chris Mullennix of Calvary Baptist Church will officiate the services.
Kenny was born on March 4, 1947 in Roswell, New Mexico to Fred Kenneth and Lena Ruth Morgan Lewis. He graduated from Roswell High School in 1966 and attended Eastern New Mexico University. Kenny went on to serve in the Navy for 22 years until his retirement in 1989. He then worked for the City of Roswell in the Human Resources Department for 22 years and retired in January, 2012.
Kenny is survived by his parents and two sisters Pam Pittman, and husband Travis, of Roswell and Suzanne Hughes, and husband Russell, of Corinth, Texas. Kenny is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews in Roswell, Illinois, Georgia, Texas and California. He was preceded in death by one brother, William Bill Lewis and a nephew, Little Billy Lewis.
Kenny was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church and served as a Deacon for many years. He will be greatly missed.
