Kirk Weems

WEEMS, KIRK CHARLTON-Kirk Charlton Weems went home to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, July 11, 2018. He was born in Clovis, NM to Daniel and Claire Weems.

Kirk graduated from Portales High School in 1990. He married Carrie Pankey Weems January 4, 2003. He was employed by Berkshire Hathaway Home Services as an Associate Broker. Kirk enjoyed playing sports as a child and young adult. Kirk was an avid Dallas Cowboy and Los Angeles Angels fan. He also enjoyed playing fantasy football with his family and friends.

He took pride in coaching Quinton's baseball teams and enjoyed the special time they shared together.
Kirk and his family are active members of Roswell First Church of The Nazarene.

Kirk is survived by his wife, Carrie Weems; sons, Drew Lucero and Quinton Weems; brothers and their wives, Mike and Renea Weems of Lubbock, TX; James and Ginger Weems of Capitan, NM; Derek and Jen Gentry of Bristow, OK; nephews, Brett Weems, Garrison Weems, Cory Gentry, Jarod Gentry; two nieces Paige Weems, Alli Lane; his father and mother in-law, Alex and Betty Pankey of Roswell, NM.

Kirk was preceded in death by his parents Dan and Claire, a niece Erin Weems and his sister-in-law Laurie Pankey-Lane.
