What is a Krystle but a reflection of light, giving off beautiful intense colors of allshining light. Dawn is the beginning of brightness and first light of day. Was there ever a child more aptly named She brightened our lives with her smile and her laugh. One person described her as a living, walking angel. She illuminated the room every time she walked in and filled it with her contagious joy. She wasnt just beautiful on the outside, but on the inside of her heart and soul. Everywhere she went she shared her beauty and love for Christ with everyone. Just as the light chases away all of the darkness, Krystle was on a mission to bring the light of Jesus to a world living in darkness.
Krystle was a dreamer, a visionary, and an idealist, but not merely content to daydream, she actually lived and pursued her dreams with all of her heart. One dream of her heart was to go to Africa. She fulfilled that dream in 2011 with a trip to Uganda. She went to bless others, but she felt that she was the one who received a blessing instead. Krystle had the ability to set people at ease and make them feel loved. She was just as much at home on the stage singing and dancing as she was holding a child in Africa as at home sharing her faith with her family as she was sharing with a stranger on the street.
She also had a dream to be a Godly mother. She fulfilled that dream with her two beautiful children. She loved her babies and did her best to reflect Gods love to them. While expecting her first child, Krystle prayed and studied in order to give her son a name that would reflect her faith in God for what her son would become. She chose Elijah Valor and called him her mighty man of God. Elijah means my God is Jehovah and Valor means with great courage and bravery. She did the same with her daughter, Zyon Alyzabeth. Zyon meaning Heaven, the city of God, a place of worship. Alyzabeth means, my God is a promise, and consecrated to God. Krystle believed that by giving her children powerful names she would be speaking over them every time she said them. Krystle loved her family and treasured her children.
She will be missed more than words can say. As a colorful sunset is the beautiful memory of a light that has passed to the other side as the petal of a rose leaves its fragrance on the hand that has held it, so Krystle leaves her light and fragrant beauty in all of our hearts and memories. She just danced away into the brightness of Gods light.
Krystle is survived by her children, Elijah Valor age 5, Zyon Alyzabeth age 2 and their father Landon Stephenson. Also by her parents Mike and Twyla Knowlton and her sisters, Shiloh Knowlton, Heather Ruiz and her children Rylan, Jude, Harley and their father Lucas Ruiz.
