Latson Glenny

GLENNY, LATSON L.D. BUSTER -- Graveside services are scheduled for 10:30 A.M., Thursday, March 22, 2007 at South Park Cemetery for Latson L. D. Buster Glenny, age 75, of Roswell, who passed away March 18, 2007 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Rev. Richard Smith of Highland Baptist Church will conduct the service. A Memorial service will be at 11:00 A.M., at Highland Baptist Church.

Buster was born August 12, 1931 in Ft. Worth, Texas, to Ervin Latson and Susie Ethel Hawkins Glenny. Both parents preceded him in death. He was also preceded by a brother, Robert Vernie Glenny.

He married Margaret Nell Cox on June 7, 1956 in Roswell. She survives him at the family home.

Other survivors include a daughter; Wanda Nell Foster and her husband Tim Foster of Roswell, a son; James Lee Glenny and wife Jeneva Irene Glenny of Roswell, a sister; Ruby Nell Jackson of Benbrook, Texas, a brother; Eddie Wayne Glenny and wife Gayle Glenny of Heathrow, FL.

Also surviving are 2 grandchildren; Jason Timothy Foster and his wife Colleen and granddaughter, Sheena Nell Foster all of Roswell, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Buster was a Farm Equipment mechanic until his retirement. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church, where he was a Deacon.

He served his country in the U. S. Army.

Deacons of Highland Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
