MICHAELS, LAURA LEE A memorial services is scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 10, 2009 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Laura Lee Michaels, age 81, of Roswell who passed away December 7, 2009. Adam Soliz will officiate.

Laura was born November 28, 1928 in San Antonio, Texas to John and Virginia Carrara. They both have preceded her in death as well as a sister, Jackie Plagge, and two brothers, Jack and Cecil Carrara.

Laura married Walter Mike Michaels on June 7, 1976 in Roswell. He survives her at the family home.

Laura is survived by sons: Mark Ridlon of Roswell, John Ridlon and his wife Debbie on Sudan, TX, George Ridlon of Roswell, Donald Ridlon of Las Cruces, and Pat Michaels and his wife Vondel of Texas; daughters: Martha Allen and her husband Mike of Capitan, and Kelly Mattson and her husband Chuck of Grand Junction; brothers: Chet Carrara of Hillsboro, NM, Charles Carrara of Santa Fe, NM and Larry Carrara of CA; Fifteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Laura was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith.
