WAGGONER, LELA PEARLGraveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 5, 2014 at South Park Cemetery, for Lela Waggoner, age 93, of Roswell, New Mexico, who passed away on September 2, 2014. Pastor Rick Hale of Grace Community Church will officiate. Music will performed by Dwaine and Jill Votaw.

Lela was born September 23, 1921 in Sulfur Springs, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Ben Williams.

She married Bennie Waggoner when she was 17. They farmed for many years in Chaves County. She attended South Main Church of Christ then, later attended Grace Community Church. Lela worked for Dr. Rose and Dr. Miller as a Dental Assistant.

She loved talking to her grandchildren on the phone. She liked meeting new people and working at JC Pennys later in life. She took a lot of pride in her appearance and appreciated visiting old customers from JC Penneys. She enjoyed going out to eat.

She is survived by her daughterinlaw June Waggoner Kisselburg, Jim Kisselburg, 5 grandchildren Jeff Wood, Shayne Wood, Brittany Glenn, Leslie Blankman, Wendy Knixx and 13 greatgrandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bennie, 1 son Darrel Waggoner, 1 sister Drita Bledsoe, 3 brothers Harlon Williams, B.F. Williams and Tommy Williams.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff Wood, Shayne Wood, Kyle Glenn, Steve Smith, Jim Kisselburg, Frank Sturges, Larry Hobson, Kenneth Jennings and Terry Waggoner.

She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
