Lenna Young

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel, for Lenna Ellen Young, age 64 of Roswell, New Mexico, who passed away October 20, 2011 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Pastor Lonnie Owens of Christ Church will officiate.

Lenna was born on July 4, 1947 in Des Moines, Iowa to Leonard Howard and Wilma Ellen Yaw. They have both preceded her in death.

She married Ralph Young, Sr. on January 29, 1968 in Des Moines, Iowa. He survives her at the family home.

She is also survived by two sons: Robert A. Young of Roswell and Ralph L. Young II and his wife Jean of Des Moines, Iowa one brother: William David Burr of Springfield, Missouri two sisters: Dorothy I.M. Harris of Waterloo, Iowa and Barbara J. Richardson of Des Moines, Iowa five grandchildren: Dennis Young, Melissa Young, Adam Young, Brandi Young, and Crystal Young.

She has also been preceded in death by son Gary Wayne Young, one sister and one brother.

She was a homemaker and a member of Christ Church.
