Leona Taylor-Keeth

KEETHTAYLOR, LEONA IDA Leona Ida TaylorKeeth, 101, passed away peacefully in her sleep November 7, 2011 at Mission Arch Care Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Memory Lawn Memorial Park.
Leona was born April 1, 1910 in Columbus, Texas to Nickolos and Lillie Warren Renner. They have preceded her in death.
Leona married Jessie Roscoe Taylor who preceded her in death. She remarried Clyde Keeth he also preceded her in death as well as five brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by sisters: Earline Stallsworth of Yuma, AZ, Lillian Field of Andrews, TX and Jean Smith of Lamesa, TX.
Leona lived in Roswell most of her life. She and her husband Roscoe owned and operated a neighborhood grocery store here in Roswell for many years. Her favorite pastime was to crochet afghans for family and friends. She also loved to impress her family with her home cooking. She always enjoyed having family and friends in her home.
