Leonard Harrison

HARRISON, LEONARD THOMAS -- Services are scheduled for 3:30 PM, Friday, June 1, 2007 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel, for Leonard T. Harrison, age 90, of Roswell who passed away May 30, 2007 at a local nursing home. Pastor Troy Grant of Berrendo Baptist Church will conduct the service. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park.

Leonard was born June 15, 1916 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma, to Johnny and Florence Curtis Harrison. His parents preceded him in death.

He married Onita Gray Harrison on May 15, 1941 in Roswell. She survives him at the family home.

Other survivors include 2 sons; Danny Harrison and his wife Rhonda and Carl Harrison and his wife Dorothy all of Roswell, 2 daughters; Doris Moreno and her husband Leroy of Midland, TX, and Janet Andrade and her husband Andy of Portales, NM. Other survivors include 2 brothers, Dee, and Ambrose, and 4 sisters; Alma Allen, Irene Beeman, Bernice Mathews, and Betty Markham; 16 grandchildren , 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Mr. Harrison was a farmer.

His grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
