WELD, LIDIAFuneral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 24, 2013 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Lidia Weld, age 68, of Roswell who passed away January 14, 2013.

Lidia was born December 22, 1944 in Eden, Texas to Pedro and Fedalia Cortez. They have preceded her in death as well as a brother, Pete.

Lidia married Donald Weld on February 17, 1984 in Orange County, CA. He survives her at the family home.

Survivors also include a son: Lorenzo Martinez of Clovis, NM and Kevin Weld of Farmsville, CA daughter: Monica Olsen of Burbank, CA brothers: Frank Cortez of Albuquerque, NM and Richard Cortez of Hobbs, NM sisters: Beatrice Bauldridge of Roswell, Hortencia Garcia of Hobbs, NM and Martha CortezRoth of Albuquerque, NM.

Lidia was a secretarytranslator for Social Services.
