Loraine Rogers

ROGERS, LORAINE Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at Country Club Road Church of Christ for Loraine Rogers, age 79, of Roswell, who passed away on July 13, 2007 at her residence. Doug Austin of Country Club Road Church of Christ will officiate with interment to follow at Twin Oaks Cemetery in Artesia.

Loraine was born December 27, 1927 in Avis, New Mexico to Leonard and Jackie Munson. They both have preceded her in death, as well as her husband Glen Lee Rogers.

Loraine married Glen Lee Rogers on July 29, 1950 in Artesia.

She is survived by a son: Billy R. Porter and his wife Terri of Fayetteville, NC; a daughter Donna Talley and her husband Greg of Stafford, VA; a sister: Thelma Faulkenbery of Roswell; a niece: Marlys Graves and her husband Randy of Roswell; Five grandchildren: Ronnie Novak, Alexandria Novak, Brad Novak, Jackie Schenck and Jennifer Porter, four great grandchildren and a great niece, Shannara Green.

Loraine was a secretarybookkeeper for Brewer Oil. She was a member of Country Club Road Church of Christ, Eastern Star and Women of the Moose.
