Lorene Vanwinkle

VANWINKLE, LORENEA Funeral Service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 13, 2009 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Lorene VanWinkle, Age 83 of Booneville, AR, formerly of Roswell and Artesia. Mike Joy will officiate with interment to follow at South Park Cemetery.

Lorene was born on June 23, 1925, in Roswell to Guy and Ethel Bogart. They both have preceded her in death as well as a daughter, Zella Lackey.

Lorene married Clarence VanWinkle on December 2, 1939 in Roswell. He also has preceded her in death after sixty four years of wonderful marriage.

Lorene was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by a son Jimmy VanWinkle and his wife Rhonda of Los Alamos, NM; four grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Larry VanWinkle, Marcus Stephens, Gary Lackey, Dale Lackey, Phillip Shackelford and Billy Bartlett. Honorary Pallbearers are Pete VanWinkle, Cecil Lamen, Ronnie Lamen and H.P. Hale.
