Louis Hayes

HAYES, LOUIS ALVIN -- Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 26, 2007 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Louis Alvin Hayes, age 76, of Roswell, who passed away July 23, 2007 in Lubbock, Texas. Pastor Rick Hale of Grace Community Church will officiate with interment to follow at South Park Cemetery.

Louis was born October 1, 1930 in Blakely, Georgia to James and Sadie Hayes. Who preceded him in death.

Louis married Janice Rozzell on February 16, 1951 in Roswell, she survives him at the family home.

Survivors also include their sons: Rick Hayes of Albuquerque and Terry Hayes and his wife Faye of Roswell; a brother: Byron Hayes; a sister: Clara Jarrett both of Blakely, GA; five grandchildren: Adam Hayes stationed at RAF Lakenheath, England, Ian Hayes of Apache Junction, AZ, Harmony Hayes of Albuquerque, Raiff Hayes of Albuquerque, and Alisha Chaves and her husband Derrick of Roswell; three great grandchildren, a life long friend, Mike Sarto and numerous nieces and nephews.

Louis served his country around the world for 24 years in the United States Air Force before retiring from the service. He was then Plant Manager at Avionic Enterprise, then co-owner and President of DTH Enterprises of Roswell.
