GARCIA, LOUISAA Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 P.M. Friday, June 15, 2007 at St. Johns Catholic Church for Louisa Lovato Garcia, age 83, of Roswell, New Mexico, who passed away June13, 2007 at her daughters residences in Artesia, NM. The Resurrection Mass will be at 9:00 A.M., Saturday, June 16, 2007 at St. Johns Catholic Church, with Deacon Louis Romero officiating. Interment will follow at Hagerman Cemetery.

Louisa was born March 1, 1924 in Arroyo Colorado, New Mexico, to David and Sostena Lovato who have preceded her in death as well as two sons, Jerry and Raymond Olguin, two daughters, Modesta Molly Nunez and Victoriana Olguin; grandsons: Guadalupe Nunez, Jr. and Joe Ray Olguin and three brothers and three sisters.

Louisa married Enrique Olguin on January 6, 1947 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Clovis, NM. He passed away on October 1977. She then married Teodoro R. Garcia at St. Johns Catholic Church on February 12, 1982 in Roswell. He passed away on March 2004.

Survivors are her sons: John Olguin and his wife Connie of Carlsbad, and Henry Olguin and his wife Kathy of Roswell; three daughters: Clarinda Clara Nunez of Albuquerque, Velia Lopez and long time companion Collie Chavarria of Artesia and Angelina Olguin of Dallas; one brother: Joe Lovato and his wife Della of Roswell; three sisters: Librada Lee Pacheco and her husband Fernando of Albuquerque, Ruth Callaway of Jasper, TX, Aurora Trujillo and her husband Henry of Roswell and Twenty one Grandchildren and Twenty Nine Great Grandchildren.

Louisa was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church since 1976. She was also member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Society and Cursillo. Louisa took much joy from her involvement with her activities at St. Johns Catholic Church.

Pallbearers will be Gabriel Olguin, Joe Olguin, Benjamin Nunez, Phillip Nunez, Pete Lopez and Maricella Lopez. Honorary Pallbearers will be all her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
