Margaret Jeter

JETER, MARGARET C. -- A Funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 2, 2006, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel, for Margaret C. Jeter, age 76,

of Roswell, who passed away November 27, 2006, at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Rev. Dare Stevens of First United Methodist Church will conduct the service.

Margaret was born December 23, 1929 in Grayson County, Texas, to Homer and Toleda Aldridge Caraway. Both parents preceded her in death.

She married Maxie H. Jeter on June 27, 1946, in Sherman, Texas. He preceded her in death earlier this year.

Survivors include a son, Bobby M. Jeter of Collingswood, NJ, and a daughter, Carolyn Ashley and her husband Bob of Euless, Texas. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Holly Mitchell and Rebecca Burt, and three great-grandchildren, Austin and Katie Burt, and Chance Mitchell.

Margaret had been a Draftsman in the Petroleum business, and was of the Baptist faith.

Arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Funeral Chapel.
